Preparation techniques for a more enjoyable pegging experience

When it comes to pegging, very little can be found on the proper cleaning, preparation, and relaxation needed for an enjoyable pegging experience. It is imperative to note that pegging and anal play has started to become a bit more mainstream and more likely to be explored. Gone are the days that Anal was a taboo no one dared to ask about. Especially not men. Though my first time was certainly not without pain, I am always enthusiastic about prepping and exploring what else works and doesn’t to make this an enjoyable experience.

In doing some research I various preparation and stretching techniques and philosophies but found very little on this subject that was step-by-step and useful to me. Ultimately I found a great set of products and instructions that worked wonderfully for me, and I will share them today in this brief guide.

Cleaning the Rectum:

  • Step 1: Let’s begin with cleaning my rectum of any fecal matter. Not sexy during play. You can find many versions of this, but I use a large bulb-style silicone douche with a smaller Rectal nozzle. Fill it with warm water and squeeze about 60-70% of the bulb/water into your rectum. Hold the water in briefly and immediately expel it into the toilet or tub.
    • The key here is to introduce the water into the rectum and quickly expel it to avoid any water passing beyond the rectum into the Sigmoid colon. If water passes into the Sigmoid Colon. It will generally stimulate peristalsis and a series of bowel movements, which is suitable for DEPTH PLAY but generally not what I seek for day-to-day play.
    • Repeat this bulb Enema/Rectal Douche cleansing process 2-3 times until the water you expel is clear of fecal matter and is clear in color.
  • Step 2: Take an Oral Syringe and fill it with 3-5 ML of thick water-based lube (Astroglide / KY) and inject it into my rectum. (Some refer to this as a DRY enema) At this point, I will lightly lubricate and insert the smallest butt plug into your rectum.
  • Step 3: With the smaller plug comfortably seated, take a long relaxing hot shower or bath.

The importance of KEGELS:

During your hot shower or bath with the smaller plug-in, your well-lubricated rectum perform a series of Rectal KEGELS.

This is a delightful and relaxing set of contract and release exercises focusing on the internal and external anal sphincter and pelvic floor. Do three sets of 10 Kegels, holding for 5 seconds for each contraction in the first set, 7 seconds for each contraction in the second set, and 10 seconds of contraction in the third set. This set of exercises, in conjunction with the hot shower/bath, will distribute the lube to the walls of the rectum fully and activate/relax the internal and external anal sphincter.

Before getting out of the bath/shower, remove the smaller plug and wash it off.

The main event:

Now that you are dry and clean, inside and out, you should be relaxed and warm, your rectum is well lubricated and empty, and your internal and external Anal Sphincters have had a good series of preliminary stretching.

At this point, I will take the larger ButtPlug, Which you have been soaking in HOT water during your shower; lubricate it liberally and insert it. Since you are relaxed and prepared, this should be accomplished with ZERO discomforts. If you should have any discomfort, take a pause, do a series of breathing exercises, and try again.

The larger oval plug is fantastic, and it is so soft that once inside you, it conforms to the contours of your rectum. It is large enough that it exerts constant internal and external pressure on my Rectal Sphincters and allows for great passive resistance Kegel exercises. After wiping off any excess lube, lay in bed and restart the same series of Kegels that you performed in the shower/bath, but this time with the larger plug.

Repeating; 3 sets of 10 Kegels; holding for 5 seconds for each contraction in the first set, 7 seconds for each contraction in the second set, and 10 seconds of contraction in the third set. Have fun during these exercises; play with your nipples, rub your thighs, tease yourself, and become aroused. I personally combine this period with breathing exercises and meditation, edging myself in anticipation of the thick dildo my girl is about to use for pegging me. At the end of the second set of exercises, you should be able to insert and remove the oval plug repeatedly with great PLEASURE, ease, and NO discomfort.

It is important to note here that I’m not too fond of the feeling of Rectal Prolapse, so I try to ensure that I am relaxed/stretched enough that no prolapsing occurs at this stage. If any Rectal Prolapsing occurs, continue with further Kegels while massaging the external sphincter.

At this point, you are ready to begin your pegging experience of the day.

Last Thoughts:

I know it may seem like a lot of work, but this is what worked for me after trying many other unsuccessful / rushed; preparation regimens. I need the regimen to pace myself and focus on relaxing enough. I enjoy this regimen because it creates a VERY CLEAN, VERY WELL LUBRICATED rectum with very little peristalsis (the rectum stays clean during play). During play, my two Sphincters are both relaxed and comfortable (No Burn, No discomfort, No OverStretched Feeling). Ultimately, the preparation is enjoyable and has become a fun part of my arousal and pre-play activity.

When playing with my partner, I can perform this process with them; or before their engagement privately. For partners who are squeamish about even tiny amounts of fecal matter, enemas, (or Santorum), this preparation is essential; and allows them to be comfortable.

Please, if you have any questions, feel free to ask, and I will do my best to answer.
